101 Rooms.

Heading into the central markets I spotted this little place along Morphett rd.Being that we are on the hunt for furniture,we called in.
Easily sidetracked.
The business was called 101 Rooms.Although we didn't find any furniture, what I did find was 3 gorgeous women sitting around a table drinking tea.
I felt like I had walking into a friends home.Amidst all the wares ,Kathy ,the proprietor ,had set up a dining table .Where she served coffee ,cake and High tea by appointment.
The atmosphere around the table was so welcoming I wanted to join them.Until I remembered the husband sitting out in the car.
Reminded me of my mother and her friends. They would sit around our dining table laughing and telling stories, the kettle was constantly on the boil, for hours, while us kids would play...
Ladies,we need to do this more often.

This copper and silver wall hanging was fabulous.
VintageFelted wool dress from a play
Beautiful old Jazz playing from this record player.
Was very tempted.
The most appealing part of this business wasn't neccessarily the stock, as alot of businesses like Kathys exist.
What was appealing was the energy on the inside. No snobby sales assistant here.Kathy was more than delightful and she has been here four years! And her friends around the table ,priceless.
When I asked to take some snaps ,her reply "Really?Oh please do..I am terrible at computer stuff.I would love that. And then come back and see me so I can buy you a coffee."While her friends filled me in on details of the stock.
Im bringing my mum here .And you should to.
