Shoe Shine.

Shoe shining is the process of applying an external substance to the outside of the shoe to improve the material and  make it shine.
Adding a shine to a shoe brings polish to an outfit.And thats just what I needed.
I was on my lunch break,from my current job, when I recieved the phone call saying I was successful in my interview for my dream job.
I almost burst.Since arriving in Adelaide I had this ideal picture in my mind of what I wanted to achieve.The job I was doing i was very grateful for...but it didn't tick all the boxes.
I had applied for many jobs and had been offered a handful.But i never gave up hope for the Bomb job...
So that was Tuesday.Which ment I had to give notice Wednesday,as i was to fly next Monday to WA for training.
Panic.Nobody likes the quitting process.What to do?..
Result.Get to the city early Wednesday morning,head to Adelaide Arcade and go and see Sam.

a gal needs to feel her best when resigning from a postion and my boots did not reflect how I was feeling..

 The first thing I will point out, is my boots,although flat,are thigh high.I didn't want this lovely fellow to think I expected him to to polish the whole boot.Just to the knee is fine.yes.Thankyou Sam.
                                                         Moving forward...

 Sam is the most charming young man.His business has been operating for 6 months.His business plan was put together while studying year 12.And is now studying marketing at University.

 Tools of the trade.Although i must say his communication skills are huge bonus to the success of his business,as well as his tools.

We spoke about his experiences gained through listening to peoples stories.Being a well educated and well spoken young man I really did feel like I had stepped back in time.

 He wore his suit with pride.The only thing missing was some old time tunes..

 He spoke of wanting to one day franchise his business and employ staff.I see a big future for this young man.

 Almost done.20 minutes max and cheap as chips.I did pay for the deluxe treatment which was $10.

 And there's the proof.Shoes fit for a lass about to quit her job.!I walked away from that experience feeling great.What a cool thing to do and it did polish up my day.I walked into the office with my head held high.Shiny shoes do make the girl....

And I wasn't out of the chair two minutes when the next lady saddled on in.
Husbands over Adelaide better watch out.There is a new breed of gentlemen in Sam and I hope it continues to spread.
